The fleet footed American Racing Machine justified her 1-2 favouritism when winning the Reggae Trophy over the 1000 metres (straight five) course at Caymanas Park
 
Ridden by Carlton Malcolm on behalf of trainer Wayne Dacosta and (owner) wife Elizabeth Racing Machine covered the sprint distance in 57 3/5 seconds behind cracking splits of 22.

Included among his winners is the crack sprinter Ahwhofah in the Caymanas Park 50th Anniversary Trophy over 1400 metres, which unfolded into a thrilling finish.

Title-chasing jockey Paul “Country” Francis was at it again when riding four winners on the 10-race card at Caymanas Park to be the toast of racing fans for two consecutive racedays
 
Francis graduated from the Jamaica Racing Commission Jockeys Training School Programme at the back end of 2002 and has achieved insurmountable success since not only having won this year’s Jamaica Derby but was crowned champion apprentice on separate occasions let alone among an elite few in the 50-year history at Caymanas Park to have ridden six winners on a single card.

The talented American filly Honeyofalady was at it again when making it a wire-to-wire affair in the 7th running of the Betting Gaming & Lotteries Commission Trophy over 1400 metres at Caymanas Park
 
Sent off an 8-5 favourite in the nine-horse field following the late scratch of Tobago, Honeyofalady broke winging from her number five post position and led under a snug hold from Panamanian Dick Cardenas, who guided her home for an emphatic win three weeks earlier.

Ahwhofah Trounces Rivals
